Description: |
Proposal for EA and Bridge Replacement The Corporation of the County of Middlesex (the “County”) has jurisdiction over a bridge known locally as the Wabuno Creek Bridge located on County Road 27 (Nissouri Road) over the Wabuno Creek just north of County Road 2 (Dundas Street) in the Municipality of Thames Centre. Severe deterioration of an exterior beam will require the replacement of this structure.
The County is seeking proposals from qualified firms to prepare the necessary studies, environmental assessment, detailed design drawings and contract documents so as to have a complete package for future construction. The detail to be provided for the project should be sufficient for potential submission to future provincial or federal funding programs for application based initiatives.
The County would require the Project to commence by January 2023, be completed in time for the potential tendering of the bridge construction in late 2023 and be completed at a cost that is under or at the Upset Limit as defined in this RFP and in associated potential contract approved by Council. |
